About the Companion
The Big A Companion is an independent publication created for Angels fans who want to understand more than the final score.
Our purpose is to bring together responsible Angels coverage, baseball education, organizational history, and stories about the people who make the ballpark and fan community special.
Our mission
We want Angels fans to become the most informed fanbase in baseball. That means explaining not only what happened, but how and why baseball organizations work—from scouting and player development to contracts, roster construction, and the minor leagues.
Our standards
Accuracy comes before speed. Factual claims should be supported by primary sources whenever possible. Analysis and opinion will be labeled clearly, and meaningful errors will be corrected transparently.
Independent and unofficial
The Big A Companion is an independent fan publication. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Los Angeles Angels or Major League Baseball.
