READ THE NUMBERS CORRECTLY

Attendance is not the same as bodies through a gate.

Historical baseball attendance is generally reported as announced or paid attendance. It should not be treated as an audited count of people who physically entered the ballpark. Per-game averages can also vary slightly between publications because postponed games, doubleheaders and home dates may be counted differently.

The archive preserves the figures published by its cited sources rather than silently “correcting” them. The completed 2026 total is calculated from MLB's official attendance field for every Angels home game and is now included in comparisons.
